We wanted the name to reflect the product’s characteristics. Flexi = flexible, you can build the shape you want, adjust the size, etc. Element = the basis of everything.
Yes, as manufacturers we stand by the fact that we make Flexi Element from
quality materials that last more than 20 years.
We have verified this by testing in a climate chamber.
The development and production is ours – KASKO spol. s r.o. It was developed by our engineers over more than two years. At first glance, it is a simple product, but it is very difficult to produce (e.g. to make all the sides perpendicular). We produce it in Moravia, in Slavkov near Uherský Brod.
You can calculate the price of a flower bed online with one of our selected partners, which you can find in the “Where to buy” tab
Simplicity: You don’t need any additional tools, just assemble the Flexi Element kit.
Long life: The recycled plastic from which Flexi Element kits are made is more resistant to weather and rot than wood from pallets. Guaranteed for 20 years.
Purity of materials: Flexi Element kits are made of material that has been tested for the release of hazardous substances. No one can guarantee this with pallets.
Maintenance: A Flexi Element kit is less susceptible to damage and requires less maintenance than pallet wood, which can break down and will need regular maintenance.
For all products, we think about functionality and also about being environmentally-friendly. We reduce material consumption to a minimum while maintaining maximum possible functionality and strength. More than 90% of gardens (according to our research) are built on backfill, which very often contains stones and solid parts. Only the top layer is made of high quality soil without any stones. We chose the shorter peg length for these reasons. It does not run into stones and its length is sufficient (in standard soil) to anchor a bed.
If you have a bed up to a height of three layers (approx. 38 cm), there is no need for reinforcement. Tying it with wire is recommended for greater heights, see this video. Alternatively, you can support individual cubes with sand, soil, etc.
It’s up to you. However, from an ergonomic viewpoint, the recommended height is a maximum of 72 cm (given standard growth).
The optimum height is four layers of Flexi cubes (i.e. approx. 50 cm).
Thanks to special snap-in holes, the right-angled shape and overlapping assembly.
Thanks to the additive for UV stabilization, the material is resistant for at least 20 years in the standard Czech climate.
The product is tested to the same standards as children’s toys. It does not release harmful substances.
Yes, Flexi Element cubes can be easily disassembled.
Easier production and universal use.
Through our sales research we verified the modernity (interest in) of this surface. For example, imitation rattan is not sold (bought) as much anymore, because the non-uniform surface gets clogged with dirt. That’s why our surface has a modern concrete design and is smooth. This makes it maintenance-free.
No, a tough material is used considering that it is hammered into the ground. So that it will hold and not bend.
There are 8 drainage holes in the bottom of each cube. We recommend using 4 holes for anchoring spikes (pegs). The four remaining holes are sufficient for drainage of excess water.
Plastic injection moulding.
We use 100% recycled material (plastic) from industrial production. This plastic is recycled and tested before production, to ensure it meets all our requirements.
Yes, by assembly and interlocking. Naturally, the specific size, height etc. must be taken into account and it must be secured accordingly, for example with reinforcing iron.
The ribs increase a cube’s strength and stability.
Yes, use a suitable paint for plastic.
No maintenance is required, the Flexi Element system is designed and manufactured to be maintenance-free.
Just level the surface (ensure it is horizontal). The part embedded in the slope does not need to be wrapped and protected with anything.
No, a tough material is used, because it is hammered into the ground. So that it will hold and not bend.
The Flexi Element system is assembled like a kit (the cubes overlap). The special joins just need light pressure to snap into place and that’s it.
If you want to disassemble the cubes, just push the snap-in parts with a screwdriver. Then they simply come apart.
Recycling reduces waste – we do not create new plastic. We make the Flexi Element system from plastics that would otherwise end up in a landfill or incinerator.
We have calculated (using an external certified company) that by using recycled plastic, compared to if we were to produce from original material, that this reduces our carbon footprint by up to 80%.
